Day 4 with Mom: Back to Portsmouth

On Thursday morning we ran around Roseau a little bit and Mom got to grocery shop with me. We headed back on the hour drive to campus and had lunch with Ryan. I thought after lunch we might go to Fort Shirley or maybe on a boat tour of the Indian River, or possibly even sailing with one of our friends at school. None of the above! It was rainy, windy, and the waves were still kind of crazy from the sea swells. We were pretty exhausted so we decided to go home and take a nap! I made some bread for us and for Ryan's parents who would be arriving the next day. After nap time we went to school for Ryan's football game. It was the playoffs! And we won! It was a fun game to watch and I think that Mom was pretty surprised at how rough the games actually are. She said "Um, I do not consider this FLAG football! There is a lot of testosterone out on the field!" After the game we headed up to the Tomato for dinner with Adam, Adam's mom & step dad, Rabbi & Lisa. I'm really glad mom got to spend time with our friends and get a glimpse of what our life is like here!
