Middleham Falls is Dominica's highest waterfall (150 feet). To get to it you must take an hour hike (each way). We had to do a lot of up and down hiking and I was concerned because Ryan's dad has problems with his knees, but everyone survived the hike! On a difficulty scale of 1 to 5 (1 being an easy hike) I would rate this hike a 4. Luckily, it was not a hot day - if it had been, I probably would have changed my rank to a 5! We hiked through the beautiful rain forest and could hear the waterfall a long time before we saw it.

The waterfall was so powerful that the spray off the pool was blinding everybody. A few brave people crawled down the rocks and swam in the pool. People were jumping off the rocks (and even doing flips). I stayed at the lookout point and just took pictures. Ryan is the one in the yellow swim trunks.
