To end the day we went to a sulfur spring. It was a wonderful experience! I'm not sure where the name of the spa came from...but I've come up with several ideas. At first I thought maybe the guy who owns it is named Screw? I don't know! It was the coolest thing! When we got there a very chilled out local who was wearing a towel around his waist and head came up and passed the rock with all of us. We then had fresh fruit (pineapple, banana, mango, grapefruit, oranges, etc.) and local fruit juice. I really liked the guava juice. We went down into the place and there were either 3 or 4 small sulfur pools. It looks like the water is dirty, but really it is clear water that has sulfur in it (naturally). They say that sulfur is good for your skin, so we were rubbing it on our faces. The water was naturally warm. Each "pool" was a different temperature. One was pretty hot! The one we were in felt like perfect bath water.

I should have taken this picture BEFORE we ate all the fruit!

As you can see, we had to leave our soap and shampoo in the car. :)
