With all the bread baking that has been going on around here, occasionally bread crumbs wind up on the floor. If I don't find them, the ants will. The ants here are tiny. I haven't seen any of the normal sized ants. In this video you can see a whole team of ants lift this tiny bread crumb (you can tell how small the ants are compared to the bread crumb) and try to take it to their house for a big dinner. Their efforts are admirable. Sadly, these ants did not make it to dinner. Shortly after the video was shot these ants went straight to ant heaven. Notice how they start on the white line, cross the pink line and keep moving across the floor. (Isn't our tile beautiful?) Oh, and if anyone is preparing to give a "Teamwork" talk/sermon/speech, feel free to borrow this video.
