Happpy Day of Love!

Today was the first day since I've been in Dominica that I saw roses! Andrea & I were at our bread table during lunch and Ryan called to find out where I had parked the car. I always, always park in the same little parking lot but today I parked on the street. He was trying to be sneaky and put roses and candy in the car, but instead he just had to bring it to me at the bread table. We've always given gifts to each other in private because they're just for each other. I've never wanted flowers sent to work/school because I don't want someone who doesn't get any to feel bad. Anyway, I was very surprised and excited. The roses were imported and , surprisingly, they are in pretty good condition. I took off the huge "I Love You" bow that was tied around the vase. :) Last night when I was baking bread, I ran out of propane. Everyone was out of propane today, so I had to use Adam & Rabbi's oven. They live on the 1st floor and we live on the 3rd, so there was a lot of stair climbing during dinner preparations. We had grilled tuna, vegetables, cheesy garlic biscuits, and brownies for dessert. Now Ryan is back in the library studying

I was very surprised to see that the chocolates had not been melted before!

Some things never change. I noticed that you have sampled most of your candy. I guess that cuts down on anyone accepting an offer if they would like a piece. Glad you had a good day. love Dad
