Sorry!

Sorry, Mom! And anyone else who is disappointed in my lack of blogging this week. I've been busy! :) Anyway, Monday afternoon we went to the beach. Monday was a big test day, so everybody went to the beach in the afternoon. There was music and hamburgers. People were swimming, laying out, snorkeling, sailing and tubing. It looked like a vacation spot. Any other day you go to the beach (when everybody is studying) it looks like a deserted island. Ryan and I went sailing with one of our friends, Andy. It was so much fun! Mom, I told him that you loved to sail and he said he would take us again when you come! Monday night we went to the Purple Turtle restaurant for dinner. The food was not great, but the restaurant is right on the beach, so the atmosphere was nice. The menu said to ask the waitor about the daily specials. When the waitress came I asked what the specials were and she looked at me like I was speaking Chinese and then just started laughing. She went to the kitchen and came back and said that goat was the special that day. Goat was on the menu, so apparently they don't have specials. Anyway, there was a dead snake on our trail last night! A local said it was a python. I'm probably the one who killed it. I probably ran over it with my car without even noticing. Today our friends, Sarah & David said there was a boa constrictor in the road near their place and that it was so big someone thought it was a log! I need a taser gun! Do you think that would work on snakes? Thank goodness I have a car! Tomorrow morning I am going sailing to Secret Beach. It is a great place to snorkel. I borrowed snorkel gear from some friends, so now I'm really excited! Saturday is our big river tubing trip. :) Hope everybody is having a great week! Thanks for the mail, Danny & Susie and Julie!
