The sea can be scary at night!

So, if my mom would have seen how we went about actually getting on the boat, I probably would not have been allowed to go! :) See that tiny light in the very middle of the picture? That is the little dingy boat that carried 8 people at a time for the shore to the boat. The man in the front had a flashlight...and that was the only light. We were sitting so low in the boat that I literally felt like I would just roll out into the water when the weight shifted in the boat. I had my arm wrapped around the back of Ryan's coat. If I went overboard, he would definitely know! To board the little dingy boat we had to go out on the "Enter At Own Risk" dock...in the dark...in the rain. The man said to sit on the dock and when the boat got close to kind of drop down into it. I did as I was told! There was a bunch of water in the bottom of the boat, so my jeans were soaked. The seats were also wet from the rain, so the back of my jeans was also soaked. I kind of felt like we were in a scene in Jaws and I was just waiting for the fin to circle our teeny boat. I know I'm being dramatic right now.
Here is another pictue of the little boat bringing passengers to the catamaran.
See what I mean? Tiny boat...low to the water...small flashlight...no life jackets. Thankfully, everyone made it safely to and from the boat!
Just driving the boat around the Caribbean! Where do you guys want to go? Guadeloupe? Martinique?
Ahhh! No hands! (Why am I such a nerd?)

You are most definitely grounded. I say again grounded. That means stay on the ground. Love you, Mom

That picture of you at the helm reminds me of one day at Pickwick when you were also in charge.

"Work with me, Brian, just work with me"!!!!! Do you remember that? HA HA

Love,

There are some things I think a daughter needs to keep from her parents. This would be considered one! Thanks for sharing your eventful story.
