On Monday I had a craving for donuts. So, since I couldn't run out to the nearest
Krispy Kreme, I decided to make my own. Well, actually they were donut holes since I do not have a donut cutter. They were delicious! I made half of them cinnamon sugar (top pic) and the other half were glazed (the white spots are powdered sugar that did not blend well). I gave a lot of them away to friends. Then I got an email from a girl in my bible study asking me to make a birthday cake for her friend's surprise birthday party tomorrow. It's not perfect by any means, but I'm pretty proud! :)

Ashley, I am proud of you and your cake :) I check your blog every couple days, and I love hearing about you guys' "adventure" from your perspective... usually hilarious! Oh, and btw-- if you have cookie cutters at all you can make doghnuts if you use a big one and a little one-- takes the place of a doughnut cutter, and i really have no idea how to spell do-nuts so i tried a few different ways :)
I would like to order one dozen cinnamon sugar donuts please!!!!!
I'm pretty proud too. Love, Mom
