Finally. After 3 years of missing the trip, I finally made it to Naples in November. The 4 nights and 3.5 days we spent there were such a blessing. Five of these girls have been friends all their lives. Julie and I met them 10 years ago when we were freshmen at Lipscomb and I spent a semester in Vienna with 4 of these girls. We were all roommates with at least 1 or more of these girls at one point or another. In other words, we've known each other a while and I know we will be friends until we are 98 going on our Naples in November 2080 trip. These girls are all wonderful friends, wives, and Christians. They are smart, fun, ladylike, kind, hilarious and oh, so classy. They make me want to be a better woman. That's the kind of friend everybody wants - the kind that makes you try to be the best version of yourself. It amazes me how much God must love me to have put such sweet friendships in my life. We spent 3 days laying by the pool, eating fabulous food, and basically having a very long slumber party. Blessed.
