Daily Bread is in the newspaper!

There were pictures in the actual paper - just not online for some reason. We've been having a wonderful time with our friends and family! We've been very busy going back and forth from Nashville to Jackson. Tuesday night we got to go on a date to the Melting Pot, thanks to Kyle and Andrea's gift card! It was delicious and such a treat for us! Ryan has been busy golfing and fishing and I have been busy shopping! Other than that, we've been staying up late, sleeping in, watching House, renting movies, watching football, going to Dr.'s appointments, playing games, watching the Republican National Convention, eating like we're not going to have another meal for 4 months, and basically just enjoying every single day. :) This weekend 2 of our friends are getting married, so we are looking forward to celebrating with everyone before we leave early, EARLY, Sunday morning. I'm so, so thankful for this 2 week break, but am very sad to know that on Monday morning we will be back to business as usual...in Dominica. Going back to Dominica isn't what makes me sad, it's the fact that Ross will get ALL of Ryan's time and energy again! He's such a hard worker and I'm so proud of him. Please pray that all of the storms won't affect our traveling this weekend. I'm afraid of flying as it is...so flying over/through/around hurricanes isn't something I want to do! The best part about going back to Dominica this time is that we are returning as 4th semesters! When we got to Dominica last year (it's been a whole year!), I never thought this time would come! I'll do a better job of updating this blog once we're back on the island.

Ashley and Ryan had a great time in the US!!!! I can't believe that they were able to make all their connections today, but they are "at home" and safe tonight. We are thankful. Mom

So glad you made it back with no trouble due to the weather or flights. It was wonderful seeing you both and thank you for sharing Will and Jenny's special day with them. We are thankful you were able to stay for it. Ryan, got the tux (and gift)- thanks. Ashley, wonderful article in the paper. They are going to miss you when you leave the island. Here's hoping and praying these next four months are good for you and pass quicky.
Love, Elisabeth
