So this is why I don't have 19 people over for dinner every night!!! I cooked 3 lasagnas, which meant I had to make a lot of ricotta cheese. I had to make 5 separate batches of ricotta. By the last batch I was so sick of the smell that I starting feeling a little queasy. These pictures were taken on Wednesday and the birthday dinner was Thursday. I cooked pretty much non-stop for two and a half days. The menu: 3 lasagnas, lots of spaghetti, 2 pizzas, homemade garlic breadsticks and pizza dip, veggie tray, and a salami, cheese and olive tray. For dessert: funfetti cupcakes (Ryan's favorite), mandarin orange and pineapple cake, something chocolate with cream and peanut butter cookies. Thanks to Andrea for the cookies, Marissa for the salami & cheese tray and Ralna for helping cut the vegetables and loaning her serving trays. I think everyone had a great time. I'll post pictures of the party next.
Not good having broken glass in the kitchen when all you have is a broom! I needed a dust buster to get the small pieces.
All I want for Christmas is a dishwasher!!!
